Extremely Rare
Among the four great precious stones, emeralds are by far the rarest — and that's exactly why collectors and investors take them seriously. At VALIORÈ, we specialise in investment-grade Colombian emeralds, sourced directly from the legendary Muzo and Chivor mines. These stones are not just beautiful — they're genuinely scarce, and increasingly so. Because new supply is limited and demand for the finest material continues to grow, high-quality emeralds have consistently grown in value over time, often outperforming traditional investments.
Exceptionally Rare
Rubies are the most valuable coloured gemstones per carat when it comes to investment, but only when they're exceptional. The finest Burmese rubies — especially the prized "pigeon's blood" colour from the Mogok Valley — routinely outvalue diamonds of the same size. We source these stones through our long-standing relationships in Myanmar, ensuring full traceability and documentation. Because Mogok production has declined significantly in recent years, the supply of top-quality rubies is shrinking — while demand from collectors and investors continues to grow.
Virtually Unobtainable
For investors, Kashmir sapphires are in a class of their own. The velvety blue hue unique to these stones is the gold standard in the collector world, and the mines that produced them have been exhausted for decades. New sapphires may match the colour, but they cannot replicate the origin — which is precisely what gives Kashmir stones their enduring, almost untouchable value. When a genuine Kashmir sapphire appears at auction, it typically sets a world record.
Extremely Rare
Less than 2% of all diamonds mined are Type IIa — the purest, most optically flawless category — and among these, the largest and finest examples are reserved for private collections and the auction rooms where world records are set. Each stone is documented with full GIA or SSEF certification, and we offer lifetime authentication and provenance support.

This isn't a sales point; it's a requirement. Before any stone enters our collection, it must be independently authenticated by GIA, SSEF, or another globally recognised laboratory.
